I vote for all of them. It does of course depend on which question you want answered.

O.K. At the risk of highjacking your blog I have to throw out my naivete about how I think everything ultimately makes sense in the universe. Besides, I know you know I read your blog so I assume you know I'd comment! So I believe all truth, if it's really truth, connects and supports other truths. I imagine it like a huge net that is not flat but convoluted and only in later lives when we've progressed beyond our current limited understanding will we see how it all connects together. I think a lot about what Carl Sagan said about the 4th dimension. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnURElCzGc0
In my mind this explains how one day truth will all make sense to us. As far as the texts you mentioned I've read all of some, and only parts of others, except Dianetics. I think there are great things in all of them and errors as well. The errors don't put me off. Inspiration from God is filtered through humans and we add the error to it. Especially as those original texts are passed down and translated over and over. This perspective has a lot to do with my Mormon background. Joseph Smith wrote, "If there is anything virtuous, lovely or good report, we seek after those things." We are not afraid of intellectuallism or the truth that comes from any culture. Doesn't it make sense that God would speak to every culture? His goal is to enlighten all his children and make us more like Himself.

Thanks, Sarah. I've not been blogging enough but I alaways appreciate your insights! I want to come visit in Utah and go ride or hike the canyonlands. Just read Aron Ralston's book Between a Rock and a Hard Place. Read it! Miss ya'll. Hugs for all boys.
